AI Agents for Product Operations

Clean product data, without the quarterly firefight.

Tag coverage, account identity, naming, segments and access, checked on a schedule rather than the week before a board meeting. Every finding arrives with an owner and a due date.

A full baseline in days. Then it keeps checking.

The problem

Nobody notices the data broke until the number is wrong in public.

Three releases shipped without tags. An engineer renamed an event and the old one is still in four segments. Two people who left in June still have admin. A segment everyone reports from was built on a filter that stopped matching in August.

None of these are hard to fix. They are hard to find, because finding them means someone methodically checking seven different things across an instance nobody has time to audit. So they accumulate quietly, and surface in the worst possible setting — when a number is already on a slide.

Every agent, dashboard and health score you build sits on this. It is the least glamorous work and the most load-bearing.

Agents

Two agents, one job: keep the foundation sound

Foundation

Pendo Audit Agent

“What is broken right now?”

  • Tag coverage, weekly — untagged pages, broken tags, releases that shipped untagged
  • Account identity, monthly — sub-accounts that do not roll up, bad metadata
  • Naming and duplicates, monthly — off-standard names, duplicate pages and events
  • Stale content, segments and access, monthly — nothing touched in 90 days, unverified segments, people who left

The first run is a baseline in days. After that it is a standing check, so problems surface the week they appear rather than the quarter they are discovered.

Center of Excellence Agent

“Who is fixing it, and by when?”

  • Gives every audit finding an owner and a due date, then follows up
  • Sizes incoming requests and routes them to the right builder
  • Checks scheduled in-app messages across teams before they collide
  • Sets and enforces the standards for tags, names, surveys and guides

An audit that produces a list nobody owns changes nothing. This is the half that makes the findings actually get fixed.

In the workflow

It shows up on a schedule

Slack or Teams

The weekly tag-coverage check, and an alert the day a release ships untagged.

Your tracker

Findings arrive as tickets with an owner, a due date and the affected pages listed.

The review queue

Nothing changes in your instance until someone approves it. The agent finds and proposes.

The work does not become another dashboard to check. It arrives as named, owned, dated items in the tools your team already uses.

What it will not do

It will not change your instance on its own. Findings come with owners and recommendations. Your team makes the change.

It will not delete anything. Stale content and unused segments are flagged for review, never removed automatically.

It will not hand you a finding you cannot verify. Each one links to the page, event, segment or account in question.

It will not leave your environment. Your cloud, your data, and whichever model your security team has approved.

Start with a baseline

The Pendo Audit Agent produces a full health baseline of your instance in days. It is the usual way in, because every other agent depends on what it finds.

FAQ

Common questions

Do we need Pendo for this?

Yes. Both of these agents work on a Pendo instance. If you are earlier than that, getting the product data in order comes first, and we scope that in the agent review.

Is this a one-time audit or ongoing?

Both. The first run is a baseline in days. After that, tag coverage is checked weekly and the remaining six checks run monthly.

What does it change on its own?

Nothing. It finds problems, assigns owners and recommends fixes. Every change to your instance is made by a person.

How is this different from the CoE Accelerator?

The CoE Accelerator is a consulting engagement that stands the program up. These agents keep it running afterwards, and most teams do them in that order.

How long before this is useful?

Days. The audit baseline is the fastest output of any agent we run, which is why it is usually first.
