Proof of Concept (POC)

A time-boxed build that puts a working version of the thing in front of the buyer before they commit to it. Balboa runs a 30-day POC: we build the agent on the customer's own data, and the customer sees what it surfaces before signing anything.

A proof of concept differs from a pilot. A POC asks whether the approach works at all; a pilot asks whether it scales.
